Six good reasons

The advantages of studying at CUAS Mainz

Small and Specialised

Social, health and practical theology have been our specialities for almost 50 years now. We teach around 1,500 students to become experts in these fields. The distances around campus are short and the groups are manageable in size. At the CUAS Mainz you will be part of a small, personal community of specialists!

No tuition fees

We do not require you to pay tuition fees. As with any university, you only pay a semester fee for your semester ticket and other services. Nonetheless, you benefit from a small, manageable university that offers you a personal study atmosphere and intensive support options.

Open for diversity

We are a cosmopolitan university and we welcome people of all religions as well as those of no denomination. Incidentally, this also applies to nationality and sexual orientation. As a Catholic university, we are committed to an image of humanity that values others as equals and responsibly shapes mankind.

Scientifically sound

As a research university, we impart leading-edge knowledge and expertise, and promote young scientists. From Bachelor's programmes to subsequent Master's programmes and collaborative doctorates - we enable you to take every academic career step in one location.

Excellent practical network

Be it welfare associations, health care facilities or non-profit organisations - with our collaborative and practical partners from across the church and society, we form a strong network, combine research and practice and offer you a course programme with a high degree of practical relevance and contacts to future employers.

At the heart of Mainz

Our campus is located in the middle of the lively student and research city of Mainz. Thanks to its close proximity to the main railway station, the KH Mainz enjoys optimum transport links - both within the city and to surrounding regions.
