Research services

As an institute serving all four faculties, the Institute for Applied Research and International Relations (ifb) offers a wide range of services for all CUAS Mainz researchers.

Im Vordergrund steht ein PC-Bildschirm, auf dem die Website der Hochschule mit den Schlagworten Forschung und Transfer zu sehen ist. im Hinterfgrund stehen drei MItarbeitende im Büro. Eine Person ist in Bewegung und daher nur verschwommen zu sehen.

Services include

  • advice on funding opportunities for research projects,
  • assistance with the acquisition of outside funding,
  • support with budgeting for research projects,
  • administrative coordination, support and controlling of research projects,
  • support with reporting,
  • communication with project management organizations,
  • support with legal issues and research data management,
  • support with public relations.

Furthermore, the ifb

  • advises the university leadership on all aspects of research strategy,
  • pools all relevant research information,
  • maintains contacts with partners from academia and practice,
  • serves as the point of contact for decision-makers from the spheres of business, politics, social associations, etc.,
  • represents CUAS Mainz in the relevant research and transfer-related networks at the national and international level,
  • designs and organizes conferences and colloquiums on current research topics,
  • promotes young researchers through cooperative doctoral programmes
